Now Setup can install driver for Composite USB device; use checkbox 'Process Parent'. Note, there is overclocked all functional devices from composite device, not the mouse only. * Some USB devices may have multiple partitions that will be invisible on Windows OS.

While using the USB device, virtual folders are created to control the partition in the USB device. These folders appear in the first level (root) directory as '#:' . '#' is an alphabet to identify each partition. Even when the USB device does not have partition, the 'A:' folder is created, and audio files are
controlled inside this folder.

When a USB device is used, files are played in the orders whichthey have been copied. In some PC environments, you can assign sequential numbersto files by copying them on a folder basis after entering '00' to '99' at the beginning of file names.

[About Extended Connection of the USB Device]

When connecting the USB device, usage of the CA-U1EX (an option scheduled to be sold in May) is recommended.

* Normal playback is not guaranteed when a cableother than the USB compatible cable is used. Connecting a cable whose total length islonger than 5 m can result in abnormal playback.

  • You cannot connect a USB device via a USB hub.
  • When using a memory device, be sure to use a USB card reader with a single slot. A USB card reader with multiple slots may fail to recognize the memory device.
  • When using a USB card reader, be sure to put a memory device into the reader before connecting it to the USB receiver.
  • If the USB mode is selected with no USB device connected, it will take about 20 seconds for the receiver to detect that no USB device is connected.
  • When connecting a USB device to a 2DIN system, use the supplied USB cable.
  • Install the USB device in the place where it will not preventyou from driving your vehicle properly.

  • No USB device comes with the USB receiver. You need to purchase a commercially available USB device.
  • Take backups of the audio files used with the USB receiver.
    The files can be erased depending on the operating conditions of the USB device. We shall have no compensation for any damage arising out of erasure of the stored data.
  • Audio files cannot be played depending on the USB device type or the recording condition.
  • The playable MP3/WMA/AAC file and the media format has the following limitation. The audio file, which is not conforming to the specification, may not play normally or the file and folder names may not be displayed correctly.
  • Do not leave the USB device in the vehicle for a long time.It can deform or damage due to direct sunlight, high temperature, etc.
  • Normal operation and power supply are not guaranteed for some USB devices.
  • The USB Device Operation Verification Results List may contain discontinued products. Contact the sales agent to confirm whether each product is still on the market.
